Who is Behind Amor Azul

Amor Azul (Blue Love) found a place in Alexandra “Alex”’s heart when she was just 8 years old. Her passion for supporting children with autism began after witnessing her childhood neighbors struggle to find resources and inclusive spaces for their autistic daughter in Brownsville, Texas.
Alexandra earned her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio and went on to receive a postgraduate degree from the UT Health School of Public Health in San Antonio. During her college years, she began her journey in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), starting as a Behavioral Therapist. She later moved to Houston, Texas, to continue her work and expand her impact.
With over six years of experience in the ABA field, Alexandra has worked with neurodivergent children ranging from ages 2 to 16. Her dedication to each child and their family continues to grow as she pursues her dream: to create a safe, inclusive haven for all families affected by autism.
